The Schmersal BNS 250-12Z 3,0M is a compact BNS 250 series non-contact magnetic safety sensor designed for monitoring movable machine guards, doors and protective enclosures. Its wear-free reed-contact design and glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic housing make it well suited to industrial safety applications where reliable operation, compact dimensions and tolerance of transverse misalignment are important.
The sensor provides 1 NO / 2 NC contacts and a 3 m prewired PVC cable. The front-side magnetic actuation provides an assured ON switching distance of 4 mm and assured OFF distance of 14 mm. The enclosure is rated IP67 and operates from -25 to +70 °C.
