Gearboxes

We are experienced gearbox distributors and offer a selection of gearboxes which are a fundamental component of many drive systems. Gearboxes can be used to reduce or increase speed, increase torque, reverse rotation, or change the direction of a driveshaft. Gearboxes are also known as gear drives, speed reducers, gearmotors, reducers, and gear reducers. 

Gearboxes are used to increase torque while reducing the speed of a prime mover output shaft (a motor crankshaft, for example). The output shaft of a gearbox rotates at a slower rate than the input shaft, and this reduction in speed produces a mechanical advantage, increasing torque.
